Tsunami Warning After a Strong Earthquake

Be Prepared! Warning of Tsunami advisories are in out after a earthquake in Chile early Saturday (2/27/2010) morning.
It is expected that the first wave will hit the Philippines at 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Sunday according to NWS.
The earthquake in Chile was 2:34 p.m. Saturday, time in the Philippines for almost a minute and a half. This is leading to Alert Level 1 of Tsunami in the Philippines. But according to the advisory, there is nothing to worry about, but everybody is warned to prepare for possible evacuation.

it is now level 2 from philvolcs, tsunami’s expected arrival is from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday but the incidence of an unusual wave could last even longer.
