Treat Yourself - How To Enjoy Your Field Trip? - AMA Students

Field Trip - some people call it as excursion, it is a journey from far away place. The purpose usually is for education, observation and research. Others may find it as a resting time for them to relax. Before i will tell you our journey, let me give you some tips first how to enjoy your trip.

What ever is your purpose, the best thing to do is to enjoy your field trip. You need to have a checklist of the things to bring. Most important thing to bring is your cloths, make a little inventory or count how many times you are changing your cloths. Of course you need to bring your best cloths for best confidence. Next one is you need to bring an extra pocket money, Field Trip is not time to save much of money but its a time to relax and give yourself a treat. Another tip is, you cannot enjoy the trip if you leave some work loads from your place. If you have scheduled trip for the next week, prepare to advance working for your next week's loads, this will give you a convenience while you are on your trip.

COMPO4 students enrolled in Current Trends in Information Technology are allowed to join. We arrived from AMA Dagupan Campus at exactly 3 AM in the morning.

33 Students from AMA Dagupan Campus, 1 Faculty, 1 Tour Guide and lastly the Driver, while we are in the Bus, we started our trip already. The tour guide started to have an introduction about the trip, and we cannot say anything wrong about our bus, since it is almost complete. The temperature is too low which we feel we are not in the Philippines. Since there is a good sound system and a microphone we can sing and entertained by others inside the bus. Our first stop over was in Bulacan. We started to eat our breakfast from different food chains.

Still on the first day, our first destination in Manila was NCC or National Computer Center, provider of ICT examinations and updates on the Current Trends. Followed by  CICT in the Philippines or Commission on Information and Communication Technology, where it is a government organization in the Philippines maintaining the Current Hardware and Softwares for the whole government.

After CICT, we also visited PHIVOLCS, and conducted a seminar about Volcanoes around the world. On our first hour, AMA Students find the trip very educational I can see everybody is enjoying.

After PHIVOLCS, we go straight to Cavite to visit the house of a Hero in the Philippines. It might not be related to IT but In the house of General Emilio Aguinaldo we realized that they are not so much lucky because they don't have computers in the old days.

After a minute travel, we check-in in the hotel of Island Cove in Cavite. It is a Resort where a day may be insufficient for you to look around. At last it is our Lunch time at Island Cove, everybody is not much feeling so tired because we are comfortable at our own bus.

After taking lunch, we take a rest to prepare for the next activities which is Team Building, it is a way to meet other AMA Students from other Branches. Several games was organized by the coordinators, but unfortunately AMA Dagupan didn't won any champion places.

After the Team Building, it is dinner time and seminar at the same time. Two speakers discussed different topics from Information Technology. The seminar is all about Current Trends in Information Technology such as Opportunities for IT graduates and latest IT trends. After the seminar, we go back to our own rooms to prepare for night swimming at the resort, some go to the Bar and watch Live Bands and some just go around and eat.

After a long day, everybody sleeps. On our 2nd day, every phone is ringing for the wake up call. Breakfast again in the Island Cove. After breakfast it is a great time for us to visit Oceania and Animal Kingdom of the Resort. We swim from different pool and meet different AMA Students from different branches.

It is almost lunch and we prepare to check out, our next destination is Mall of Asia and it will be our final destination, we came at Mall of Asia around 1.30 in the afternoon and leave at 4:20 in the same day.

It is a very nice trip to enjoy. While we are on our way home, we still play mini games at the bus about the Current Trends in Information Technology. And due to other demand, we also go to SM Rosales for the last our, and we arrived at AMA Dagupan at 10 PM. All i can say to this trip was excellent, we didn't experience any major problems.

Students of AMA are cooperative and AMA Dagupan was known as the most respected group in the resort. Yes we are, because they followed rules and regulation and obey the faculty members.
